CARSS Gives Back

It has been a couple of days since our last Jam Night, and we just wanted to take a moment to reflect on its success. The event raised $1,379 and 100% of those proceeds go directly to children receiving therapy services from Dream Riders. Inside The Listening Room, the Jam Night featured many acoustic guitarists playing the music of James Taylor, John Denver, The Beatles, and more!

Dream Riders is a non-profit facility that provides therapy for adults and children in a “friendly farm environment” through Physical, Occupational, and/or Speech Therapy, Equine Assisted Therapy, Therapeutic Riding, and Riding Lessons. A member of PATH International ( Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship), the facility resides on 17 acres of gardens, trees, and open pastures.

Each therapy session is individualized to meet the needs of those receiving treatment. Dream Riders works with many diagnoses including, but not limited to ADHD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy and Cystic Fibrosis.
